Kids can play for hours on end at Charlie Daniels Park home to Planet Playground, a 9,000 square foot fenced in playground and "Squirrel's Run" Toddler Park. There's also a skate park for the older kids. Don Fox Park in Lebanon has a playground, one mile track and 60-ft wading pool.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon offers hiking trails, Olympic size swimming pool, playground, softball field, volleyball courts and tennis courts.
Long Hunter State Park in Mt. Juliet is situated on the shore of J. Percy Priest Lake, which makes it the perfect place for boating and fishing. The park is also home to 25 miles of hiking trails ranging from one to six miles in length.
