Wilson County Welcomes CABA Baseball Tournament
Lebanon, TN, (July 11, 2011) – The Wilson County Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the schedule for the upcoming Continental Amateur Baseball Association’s (CABA) World Series Baseball Tournament for its 14 & Under League. Hosted by the Lebanon Sports Commission, over 32 teams from various parts of the country will play on five fields throughout Mt. Juliet and Lebanon, beginning July 15 and running through July 23. The tournament begins on Friday July 15, with an opening ceremony at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center in Lebanon. Other activities throughout the week include a Home Run Derby on Monday, July 18, followed by a fireworks display provided by the City of Lebanon. On Tuesday, July 19, players and their families will enjoy a Luau/Swim night at the Jimmy Floyd Family Center. All games are open to the general public, and will be played at Veteran’s Field, Eskew Field, Cumberland University, Friendship Christian School and Wilson Central High School. Day passes are available for $7 per person or $30 for a Tournament Pass. Children 10 and under will be admitted for FREE. Concessions will be available throughout the week.
